Sonny Angel

Sonny Angel collaborates with the long-established apron brand “Anything,” dedicated to preserving traditional craftsmanship in Japan. “Sonny Angel Maekake” will be available starting Wednesday, August 20th.

Sonny Angel debuts on a traditional Japanese maekake apron.

We have collaborated with “Anything,” Japan’s only specialist maekake brand still using shuttle looms over 100 years old. Maekake aprons offer practical benefits like supporting the lower back and protecting clothing from stains or damage, and it has begun gaining popularity overseas as a stylish work accessory. Anything’s maekake aprons are proudly produced entirely in Japan—from spinning to sewing—while preserving traditional techniques. Each fabric is carefully woven in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, the last remaining maekake-producing region in Japan, giving every piece its own unique character. Why not bring this MADE IN JAPAN craftsmanship into your daily life and enjoy both the comfort of a long-loved product and the charm of a Sonny Angel design available only through this special collaboration?

The design of Sonny Angel and Robby Angel in traditional Japanese colors is truly eye-catching. Featuring carefully crafted cherry blossom accents, it evokes the essence of Japan. Each apron is meticulously woven by hand, making it durable even as it softens and molds to the body with use. The thoughtful craftsmanship ensures each apron is versatile and will shine in any setting.

The figure pocket on each apron allows you to carry Sonny Angel with you wherever you go. Sonny Angel will always be by your side, any time and anywhere. Change the Sonny Angel in your pocket to match your mood or outfit!

The maekake apron’s thick fabric helps protect your body from injury and your clothing from staining or damage, making it perfect for activities like gardening that involve lots of movement.

Maekake aprons are best known for providing support and structure for your lower back, particularly while standing or working on your feet for long periods of time. They are perfect for cooking, preparing tea, and more.

With its charming and simple design, the maekake apron can also be displayed like a tapestry.

The apron’s special packaging has also been created in collaboration with Sonny Angel. Its cute, Japanese-inspired design will make you want to display the bag itself!

Tighten your posture and gently place the belt around the widest part of your pelvic bone, below the waist, to stabilize your hips.

2.Wrap the Belt
Exhale while crossing the belt behind you, then bring each opposite end to the front.
