We emphasized the authentic, antique watch parts in the design to preserve the mechanical and fashionable overall image of a watch while adding miniature accessories and clothing to add cute, retro-pop fashion elements to the figure. Every part of the figure, all the way down to the shoulder strap of the rucksack-style watch, is made with antique watch parts from 1920-1960.

Nine-Five Gears
Nine-Five Gears is small, private brand where we make our original characters and clothing using actual broken antique clock accessories as a base. These broken clocks have all stopped moving. Everything we make at nine-five gears is infused with our hope that the remnants of their nameless memories can begin weaving their way through time once more.
